Run for little Emily! In February of this year, one-year old Emily suddenly suffered multiple massive seizures caused by a still un-diagnosed neurological condition. She spent months in specialty hospitals and rehabs. She needs extended medical care and her family has had to renovate their home in order to bring Emily home.
The Hopatcong Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 149 is putting it's full effort into organizing a fundraising 5K to assist Emily's family cope financially with this unexpected obstacle.

This race will be chip-timed by SpectaSport. SpectaSport uses state-of-the-art technology and will bring results kiosks where you can view your race results immediately upon finishing. In order to encourage broad participation, pricing is being kept lower than the average 5K (especially for a chip-timed 5K). Online pre-registration for adults is only $25, age 10-18 just $20 and Children under 10 are $10. Free race shirt for all entries received before September 20 (kids included!)
Awards: First Overall Male, First Overall Female, plus Gender-Specific age group awards for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (Note: Runners must finish in 37 minutes or less to be eligible for awards ceremony. Participants finishing after 37 minutes will still be timed and will still receive a finish placing.)
