Michael Francis who is a 57-year resident of the Hopatcong community is seeking reelection this November to continue as the Mayor of the Hopatcong Borough.

After severing under Mayor Sylvia Petillo’s legacy, Michael Francis has continued to move the ball forward while focusing on the following three major issues for Hopatcong:

1. Control Sending and to Stabilize Property Taxes:

While still providing top-quality services to the people, including road work and public services that include police, fire, first aid and emergency management.

2. Promote Business Vitality:

By making the borough business-friendly by eliminating red tape. Small businesses are essential to the prosperity of our town and anything we can do to help current or future businesses needs to be explored.

3. Review Borough Ordinances to bring them up to date:

We will continue to review borough ordinances to bring them up to date and make it easier for business owners and residents to improve their property. Encouraging people to invest in their property adds value to our community and makes Hopatcong a better place to live and a town we can all take pride in.

The Mayor’s office has taken great pride in the mayor's office is always open to public questions or comments and they he seeks transparency.
