Structural home fire off Lakeside Blvd. in Hopatcong brings in units from across the region. Note that traffic is blocked in both directions on Lakeside Blvd in this area until most likely have 7:00 PM.
On Thursday March 16, 2017 at 11:56 a fire broke out in the 200 Block of Lakeside blvd. The home structure fire was on the east side of the road, which is very narrow, and the homes are only accessible through a long set of outdoors stairs.
This caused the Hopatcong Fire department to deploy their crane hose to shoot over the embankment onto the roof of the home. Additional firemen were deployed down the hill to battle the fire from the sides.
