Tulsa Trail held its first ever Book Character Parade on Thursday, March 2nd in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

Students and staff were encouraged to dress as their favorite book character. The parade took place in the morning and the students had the opportunity to vote for their classmates with the most creative costumes.

A winner was chosen from each second and third grade class. The selected winners received a special certificate and were invited to have lunch with Mr. Byrne! In addition, the students transformed the library with a “Seussical” theme and families were invited to come and read with his/her child during their selected library time.  The students truly enjoyed dressing in character and it was a great way to show our love of reading here at Tulsa Trail School!
