While this event is not scheduled to occur until May 13th, 2017, we thought that the residents of the Lake Community may need an early heads-up in order to support this important event!

What you’re supporting:

By attending and participating in this event you will be supporting Dylan (age 8) who is suffering from Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). The funds raised during this event help support the Dylan Flinchum "Rock On!" Foundation, which was established to help support their beautiful eight-year old son, Dylan.

The course starts and finishes in Modick Park with several tough "Hopatcong" hills along the route. As illustrated below, so just be ready for a fun time on-route and afterwards!

Dylan Flinchum Rock On! Foundation

Immediately following the race is a Family Fun Day which will take place in Modick Park throughout the day, and promises to be an event filled with great friends, great fun, great food and great live music!

In addition, this year they will be using Rock Race Timing for official time keeping and posted race results! Medals will be awarded to the top (timed) runners in 10-year age groups. This is a USATF Certified and Sanctioned GRAND PRIX event, so completive runners are welcome!

Note: The Hopatcong Lake Regional News will be on-hand to capture your winning finishes!

How the Dinosaur Stomp got started:

Dylan is a long-time fan of Dinosaur’s so in 2012 the event was born with his love at heart, in the first year there were over 450 registered participants, and during 2017 are shooting for even more participants to help support the foundation and to have a fun day afterwards.

So please make plans to join us to support Dylan and to get your Dinosaur Stomp On!!!
