What we are seeing:

Dows Boat Rental and Bait Shop is seeing lots of Hybrid Striped Bass caught on herring weighing anywhere from 5 to 8 pounds, fishing off any of the points in about 20 foot of water.

  • Excellent night time action also, seeing some Hybrids and plenty of walleye hitting mostly on Bombers
  • Ziggy Bak having his largest walleye weigh in at 7 lbs 7 oz
  • Lou Marcucci broke a Knee Deep Club record for the white catfish with a 5 pounder.
  • Several nice rainbow trout made their way to the scales with John O’Neill weighing in a 3 lb 9 oz fish and Tom Facciola with a 2 lb 7 oz. Lots of nice yellow perch and crappie around also. Have a great week.

Next Contest:

The Knee Deep Club’s next contest is set for June 25, this being for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers, and rod and reel combos will go to 4th thru 6th places. Mark your calendar now !!!
