Playing outside, long summer days and the warm weather is here for our kids. The excitement of summer sometimes can be lost when you’re worried if you’re going to eat each day.

Roxbury Social Service is in need of breakfast, lunch and snacks that are easy for kids to make on their own. They are looking for items such as:

  • Cereal

  • Pop-tarts

  • Pudding

  • Oatmeal

  • Bars/Energy Bars

  • Fruit cups

  • Pancake mix

  • Pancake syrup

  • Sugar

  • Lunch snacks

  • Applesauce

  • Ready Made Breakfast Drinks

If you are able to donate something, you can drop items off at Headquarters or Social Services, 72 Eyland Avenue. Social Services is open, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 to 1. They will also be open on 7/15 and 8/12 from 9 to 12. In addition the Roxbury Police have a bin set-up for 7x24 drop-off service.
