The Jefferson Arts Committee’s Gazebo Committee is pleased to announce that The Richard Reiter Swing Band will perform at their Jefferson Township’s 2017 free summer concert series on Friday evening, July 21st.
The show will be held in the beautiful Victorian Gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge, NJ, beginning at 7 PM.
Richard Reiter Swing Band performs familiar standards from the swing era. Repertoire includes Our Love is Here to Stay, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Jump Jive an’ Wail. Reiter, an Emmy Award winning composer, has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, PBS, in Bob Fosse’s Broadway musical “Dancin” and back-up to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Cher, The Temptations, and the Supremes. http://www.richardreiter.com/swing.html
Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township Middle School Gym, located at 1000 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge. Folding chairs will be set up on the gym floor for your comfort.

What a great way to end the week and wind down for the weekend. Remember, dancing and singing along is always encouraged at these summer concerts either on the brick extension or on the grass! Free-will donations are always gratefully accepted and appreciated.
