The Hopatcong School District has embarked on a new endeavor in which meaningful staff-driven professional development was offered during the summer months.

Within the last year Jesse Ioffredo, the owner of the local “Jesse and Sons Landscaping” that serves our entire Lake Region was diagnosed with cancer, which has entered his lungs and bones.
This Sunday was another jam-packed day at the Hopatcong Farmers Market as they hosted multiple local services organizations that provide support and services across our lake community.
According to Capt. Kmetz, “Today we just received two calls of people who stated they were called by us. Their caller ID reads Hopatcong Police 398-5000. I spoke to one of these residents. He did talk to the person on the phone. That person told him he was being sued. The "officer" was going to send him paperwork in the mail. The "officer" also had his address already.”
Hopatcong has been without a Business Administrator for the last five months, so filling this role was key for the Hopatcong Borough Council.
Local author Leesa Beckman and pet goose, Oliver, will be attending the Hopatcong Farmers Market on Sunday August 20, 2017. Leesa is a local Author & illustrator of four children's books about Oliver the Goose and is the recent winner of the 2017 People's Choice Award at the NJ State Fair!
