The Hopatcong Education Association was the proud sponsor of the PRIDE Volunteer Breakfast at the Durban Avenue School on Wednesday, June 14th. This annual event brings together parent volunteers, staff members, administrators, parents and children in a very special way.

The theme this year was, “Our Volunteers Hit It Out of the Park!”  Everyone enjoyed breakfast that morning catered by Cambiotti’s Tomato Pie Café in Landing, NJ.  This breakfast demonstrated how much we here at the Durban Avenue School appreciate our hard-working and dedicated volunteers.  Everyone was fueled up for Field Day following the breakfast!

Mr. Costanzo and some of our very talented students played their instruments for us to enjoy!! Principal, Mrs. Tracey Hensz announced how much we appreciate all of the volunteer’s time and effort put in to make this school year a success.  A special thanks to Mr. Costanzo, Mrs. Valle-Campo, Mrs. Mendyk, and Mrs. Kester for all of their hard work and dedication in making this event so special!! It was a wonderful time for all!!
