Police need your help with Hit-and-run in Roxbury

At approximately 3:50 PM on Friday, we had a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle on Emmans Road.

 

On 11/ 11 /2016, at approximately 3:50 PM, the Roxbury Township Police Department responded to a reported pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle near 177 Emmans Road. When police arrived they found a 57 year-old-man lying on the ground with serious injuries.


The fleeing vehicle has been possibly identified as a 2001-2005 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable and is missing the passenger side mirror. The color of the vehicle was described as champagne or gold.

The driver was described as a white male in his late 70’s. The vehicle was last seen leaving the area on Emmans Road, heading toward Main Street.


We ask for the public's assistance to report any vehicles of this make and model found with damage. The crash remains under investigation by the Roxbury Township Police Department.
