Lake Hopatcong 2020 Person of the Year: Alex McLean – Drive-thru Food Bank

The Lake Hopatcong Person of the year reflects one of the many caring people who stepped forward to help anyone who needed assistance during the onslaught of the pandemic. This was a time where many had lost their jobs, unemployment benefits were clogged in the system, and even the basic necessities of life like food, and household supplies were out of reach for many people.

 

Abuse forces Morris County to STOP at Home COVID Tests - Must use CCM Testing Center

Morris County will modify its no-cost COVID-19 testing efforts by next week to focus on the walk-up service provided by appointment-only at the County College of Morris and phase out at-home-tests for all but homebound, symptomatic residents.

 

Three New Projects adds 3-miles of Trails in Morris County

Morris County approved $619, 058 in funding for three recreational trail projects in three towns, adding nearly three miles to a growing county trail system that began five years ago.
