Hit & Run has run the bases for over a decade; and with longevity comes experience.  Our training staff has over a century of baseball knowledge and has produced some of the top athletes in the area. 

We are able to assist our players in Becoming The Best Athletes They Can Be by getting to know them, their families and most importantly their goals. 

Together, we develop and execute a plan that meets and exceeds these goals.  And because no two athletes are the same, each individual player is trained based on their unique body style, type and projected growth.  We utilize the best proven technology to assist, assess and train our young athletes through 5-point camera systems, video analysis and the best performance equipment.  We also offer Facility Rental for individuals, groups and teams.

Scott is one of the most respected Sports Performance Coaches in the Northeast.  After a short stint in the NFL, (a quick stop in Professional Independent Ball too) he started his career off in Strength and Speed becoming one of the original Directors of Elite Training for the Parisi Speed School in Fair Lawn. He then became the Head Strength and Performance Coach for St. Peter’s Prep.  After a number of successful years working with all sports, Scott moved into the general fitness realm building a Trainer Education system for a chain of health clubs before opening his own training facility in PUMP Barbell and then becoming the Education Director for Parabolic Performance and Rehab. 

Scott has had an opportunity to work with all levels of athletes across all sports.  His main focus has been football and baseball, as those two have been his passion and love. “Football was my life, Baseball was my love,” he says to his athletes.  Scott has been a consultant and outside voice for a number of NFL and MLB teams. Across his training background and experiences also comes his work with athletes specifically in sport as he has coached in the middle school and high school ranks in both Football and Baseball for some time now.  He continues to play baseball a good part of the year, and makes it a true enjoyment to keep learning about the sport.  “The game is always evolving.  Nowadays, ballplayers are looked at as athletes too.  So those who separate themselves, is usually determined who does the little things better when no one is watching.  The weight room, the practice field, and the cages are all places individuals can make themselves better for their team and career.” Scott reiterates.
